Immerse yourself in the vivacious energy of Romani Dance in this dynamic class open to all levels. Discover the rich heritage of this expressive style as you learn traditional steps, powerful arm movements, and signature skirt work. Influenced by East Indian, Flamenco, and Eastern European folk traditions, Romani dance is known for its passion, musicality, and storytelling. Each class includes technique breakdown, focused drills to build strength and precision, and choreography that brings the movements together. Students will have the opportunity to refine their performance skills and dance as a group. A full dance skirt and proper dance shoes are required for class. If you don’t have a skirt yet, one can be borrowed from the teacher. Join us to build confidence, develop strong technique, and experience the joy and energy of Romani dance.
